Visa, a global leader in digital payments, today announced the refreshed Visa Infinite suite in Malaysia, designed for the modern affluent and how they live, spend, and travel today. The refresh introduces a more flexible and personalised offering, anchored in a three-tier card structure . Alongside Visa Infinite, the suite now includes two newly launched tiers including Visa Infinite Privilege and Visa Infinite Private, with each tier tailored to distinct affluent segments within a unified premium offering.
As affluence across Asia Pacific continues to expand, with the number of affluent households projected to grow at 8 per cent annually through 2030, Malaysia is seeing a similar evolution in the size and sophistication of its affluent segment. The country’s ultra-high-net-worth population — individuals with assets of USD30 million or more — is expected to grow by 20.1 per cent by 2031, accelerating from the 6.5 per cent growth recorded over the past five years, signalling continued momentum in wealth creation and an increasingly discerning consumer base.
At the same time, affluent consumers are also redefining what premium means today. While recognition and convenience remain important, there is growing demand for experiences that feel deeply personal and meaningful to individual lifestyles.
